I recently went to Tsillan Cellars in their newly finished Woodin Creek tasting room. The new front doors welcome you into a bright and inviting Italian style interior and friendly staff. This is a great tasting room to come to if you'd like a delicious snack while sipping on some wine. Full of great photo ops, with bright natural lighting from their windows, this Woodin Creek tasting room is a must stop! There is a reason why this is the place I love to take all my friends when they want to wine taste!
I have not tried much of their food yet, but what I have has been delicious! Their burrata is a great dish to split, which comes with a fig & apricot mostarda and topped with chopped pistachios. The truffle popcorn is a nice snack that makes the whole tasting room smell amazing.
Regular Tasting Menu
Sempre Amore - Sweet and citrusy. Reminds me of a beautiful Spring day. Smells of honeysuckle and peach.
Dolce Donna - My personal favorite wine on the whole menu! A white blend of 80% Muscat and 20% Riesling this light bodied wine is like a tropical vacation. Aromas of plumeria, pineapple, and lilikoi. You will be able to taste the peach and papaya. It will feel like you took a trip to Hawaii!
Bocciol0 Di Rosa - This one is always a fan favorite rosé. Every time I bring people with me they buy a bottle! It has the perfect balance of sweet and dry. Made of 100% Syrah and a beautiful painting of the Chelan winery, this bottle is hard to miss.
Tre Amici - A medium-bodied red blend of 46% Mourvèdre, 30% Syrah, and 24% Grenache. This is a Mediterranean dream, with aromas of blackberry, olives, and smoked paprika.
Sinistra - This delicious red blend is the perfect balance of fruity and spicy. A mix of 54% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec, and 4% Petite Verdot. Smells of allspice and flavors of cherry and raspberry.
Winter Release (Only available to members)
Chardonnay - Bright, fruity, not buttery and hard to drink like most Chardonnay's. Love the way Chardonnay's are starting to grow away from the strong oaky flavor.
Riesling - Very light and easy to drink. Aromas of meyer lemon. Tastes of honey, pear and key lime pie. Gets more acidic as you drink. When I was revisiting, could taste the cherry blossom and peach more.
Bellissima Rossa - Cabernet dominant. Would pair very well with red meat dishes, dark chocolate or cherries (want to try their boujee trail mix with this). Smoky but not overpowering, cranberry notes. Smokiness dissipates as you drink and becomes more chocolatey.
Syrah - Smells fruity (blueberry and cherry). Best Syrah I have ever had. Starts fruity and peppery. The fruit flavors become more prevalent with time on the tongue. Yum! Gets more pepper forward as the wine opens up.
